Allahabad High Court RO/ARO Typing Evaluation Rules
The Allahabad High Court RO/ARO typing test follows a marks-based evaluation model unlike qualifying-only state exams:
- 20-Minute Duration: The Allahabad HC typing test runs for 20 minutes — significantly longer than most state exams. Stamina and consistent pacing are as important as raw speed.
- 25 WPM Net Qualifying Threshold: A minimum of 25 Net WPM (after deducting error penalties) is required to qualify. Candidates should comfortably aim for 28–30 WPM gross to safely clear this after penalties.
- Marks-Based Scoring (50 Marks): Unlike most state exams, the Allahabad HC typing test carries 50 marks that contribute to the final merit list. Higher speed and accuracy directly improve your rank.
