Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra conducts the Computer Typing Skill Test for Clerk recruitment in Phase-1. Candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying speed of 30 Net WPM over a 10-minute session. Beyond the 30 NWPM qualifying gate, candidate typing performance directly contributes to statutory recruitment merit out of 15.00 marks using the official formula: Merit Marks = (Net WPM โ 30) ร 0.5. For example, typing at 40 Net WPM scores 5.00 marks, 50 Net WPM scores 10.00 marks, and 60 Net WPM or above achieves the maximum 15.00 marks. Candidates typing below 30 Net WPM fail the qualifying gate and receive 0 marks.
The SKAU Kurukshetra Clerk typing test is conducted for 10 minutes in English. Candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying speed of 30 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM).
Typing test marks carry a 15-mark statutory weightage in Phase-1 merit. Marks are awarded according to the official formula: (Net WPM โ 30) ร 0.5, up to a maximum of 15.00 marks. Candidates typing at 60 NWPM or faster receive the full 15.00 marks. Candidates who type below 30 NWPM receive 0 marks and are disqualified.
Backspace is restricted. You can edit and correct characters within the current active word, but once you press the spacebar, the word is locked and you cannot navigate back to modify previous words. Arrow keys and mouse repositioning are strictly disabled.
