Evaluation Model
Qualifying Test (Net Speed >= 30 WPM with Mistake Buffer Penalty)
RRB GDCE Departmental Exam evaluates candidate typing speed at a qualifying benchmark of 30 WPM over 10 minutes. Evaluation uses an error buffer penalty formula. Up to 5% mistakes are exempted without penalty; each excess error deducts 10 words.
RRB GDCE Departmental Exam requires a qualifying benchmark speed of 30 WPM over a test duration of 10 minutes.
Backspace key mode for RRB GDCE Departmental Exam is strictly disabled (no backspace key).
Typing errors deduct marks or reduce Net WPM according to official notification rules. As long as your final score/speed meets the qualifying threshold, you pass.
After your RRB GDCE Departmental Exam session ends, TypingGrid generates a full post-test analytics report with seven components: (1) Speed Progression Timeline — your WPM plotted across the test duration to show cadence and consistency; (2) Accuracy Progression Timeline — accuracy trend showing where errors clustered during the session; (3) Performance Benchmark Gauges — your gross WPM, net WPM, and accuracy compared against the exam qualifying benchmark; (4) Keystroke Efficiency Score — productive keystrokes as a percentage of total keystrokes including backspaces; (5) Error Analysis Breakdown — full errors and half errors classified separately with their penalty contribution to your final score; (6) Smart Diagnostic Insights — automated observations on typing patterns such as backspace overuse or word-boundary errors; (7) Passage Annotation View — word-by-word colour-coded overlay showing exactly which words were correct or wrong.
