Punjab Recruitment Typing Test Evaluation Rules
Candidates preparing for clerical and ministerial appointments in Punjab should note the key institutional differences across exam authorities:
- High Court (SSSC) Net Speed Formula & 10% Cap: The Punjab & Haryana High Court examination software permits standard backspacing, but Tab and Enter are locked. Every incorrect word deducts 1 full word from your total word count:

Candidates must type at least 80% of each chunk before advancing to the next. Backspace is unrestricted within each chunk.
- Dual Language Requirement (Punjab Civil Services): Under Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, appointment to Clerk posts requires qualifying both Punjabi typing (Raavi font InScript layout at 30 WPM) and English typing (30 WPM).
